As Student Assistant (SA) from the TU/e, I collaborated with other SA's from Utrecht University, UMC and Wageningen University to develop, promote and assist in Challenge Based Learning programs open for students of all 4 institutes.
This involved promotional work, but also direct contact with students & stakeholders. In addition, I also worked to promote CBL courses for the TU/e at Innovation Space in their Promo-team, giving tours to visitors and talking with students to discuss their options and inform about their possibilities.
To support our sustainable goals and to help reach students, I also worked on some event promotion. This involved development of some physical material that did not waste paper, or involved goodies conform the TU/e guidelines of sustainability. This is also in line with my personal preferences of promotion, reducing waste while still spreading information in a fun way.
For example, I used my knowledge with Laser Cutting to create QR code stands from residual wood of one of the TU/e woodworkshops. Eventually, this practice also spread towards other suborganizations at our University, where I created different kinds of wooden promotion for TU/e Honors, Innovation Space promotion (see picture above) and for my faculty of Industrial Design.
